Gary Quirke, FCCA
President, QueBIT Finance Tech Services Business Unit
Gary is the President & GM of the QueBIT Business Unit, leading all aspects of the business unit’s consulting operations – including sales, service delivery, and customer support. Since establishing QueBIT in 2001, he has guided the company to become a trusted partner to Fortune 500 enterprises and midsize organizations alike, known for innovation and excellence in analytics.
Prior to founding QueBIT, Gary built a reputation as a recognized expert in business analytics, a field in which he has been active since 1991. His career has spanned work with leading organizations in banking, life sciences, retail, healthcare, automotive, shipping, and consumer packaged goods, where he has consistently applied analytics to improve business performance and decision-making.
Gary is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in analytics strategy and solution delivery. A frequent speaker and contributor at industry events, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the practice of enterprise analytics and shaping how organizations harness data to achieve their goals.
Catherine Jirak, CPA
Co-President, QueBIT | Advocate for Women in Technology & Finance
Catherine Jirak is the Co-Founder and currently Co-President of QueBIT, where she co-leads the Finance and Operations Technology Business Units. She has spent over two decades building and scaling a company known for both technical excellence and people-first leadership. From the early start-up years to its current position as a leading force in Finance and Operations Technology, Catherine has helped shape QueBIT into an organization defined by innovation, integrity, and long-term partnerships.
With more than 25 years of experience across consulting and corporate finance, Catherine blends strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership. She began her career in public account and then went on to hold leadership roles at CPC International, and later running her own accounting and consultancy practice before launching QueBIT.
Beyond her executive leadership, Catherine is a passionate advocate for women in technology and finance. She has served as a mentor and speaker through organizations such as Tech Up for Women and held advisory roles with the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and Her New Standard (HNS). Her influence extends beyond business performance, helping build a culture that values family, inclusivity, and the development of future women leaders in tech.
Catherine holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Scranton and is a member of the AICPA. Outside of work, she is an avid skier and golfer, and a certified member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America.
Beth Thomas
EVP & COO, QueBIT Finance Tech Services Business Unit
Beth is the QueBIT Business Unit COO, where she leads client delivery and drives successful outcomes across enterprise analytics and performance management initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience in financial and operational performance management, she has built a career dedicated to helping organizations harness data to improve decision-making and business results.
Prior to her current role, Beth served in a series of leadership positions at QueBIT, including Vice President of Services Delivery, General Manager & Vice President of Financial and Operational Performance Management, and Vice President of Consulting Services. Over her 18-year tenure, she has played a pivotal role in shaping QueBIT’s reputation for excellence and innovation, working with clients across industries to design and implement advanced analytics solutions.
Before joining QueBIT, Beth was Manager of Planning and Forecasting at American Dental Partners, where she gained deep expertise in corporate finance, budgeting, and forecasting. She began her career as an Accountant, building a strong foundation in financial operations.
Beth holds a wealth of practical experience at the intersection of finance and technology and is widely regarded for her ability to translate complex analytics into actionable strategies that deliver measurable business value.
Beth holds a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Christopher Appel
VP Strategy, QueBIT Finance Tech Services Business Unit
Chris Appel is the VP of Strategy for QueBIT where he is responsible for shaping, guiding, and scaling the organization’s solution delivery and advisory capabilities. Chris leads a team of highly experienced solution architects who partner closely with sales, engage directly in implementations, and serve as a trusted advisors for clients and internal stakeholders.
In the last 14 years at QueBIT Chris has built and delivered solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients including global financial transformations with cross functional applications for both Finance & Operations. Chris has direct experience with implementing highly scalable solutions that meet accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, and S&OP requirements. He has supported a wide variety of industries including but not limited to banking, insurance, consumer packaged goods, utilities, and non-profit. Chris has helped build QueBIT's consulting practice across multiple technical platforms and has led advisory engagements establishing executable financial transformation road maps for QueBIT's clients. Before joining QueBIT in 2011, Chris began his career as an IBM consultant where he gained experience with external reporting, budgeting, and financial transformation advisory services.
Chris holds a BS in Economics from Loyola University Maryland.
Christopher Willson
VP Service Delivery, QueBIT Finance Tech Services Business Unit
Chris is the Vice President of Services Delivery, overseeing a team of more than 60 consultants specializing in IBM Planning Analytics, Pigment, Vena, and Adaptive Insights. Over his 14 years with the firm, he’s built his career from the ground up starting as a junior consultant in the company’s consulting cohort and steadily taking on larger, more complex responsibilities. That early experience shaped how he leads today. He understands the work because he’s done the work, and he brings that perspective into every decision, whether he’s guiding project teams, shaping delivery strategy, or helping consultants grow in their careers.
Throughout his time at the firm, Chris has worked with some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations, tackling challenges that require both technical depth and a clear understanding of how businesses operate. He gravitates towards problems that force teams to think differently and stretch their capabilities. His leadership style is straightforward and team‑focused: set high expectations, support people in meeting them, and keep everyone aligned on what success looks like.
What motivates him just as much as the work itself is the team behind it. He values staying connected with consultants at every level, whether it’s collaborating on a project, talking through a career path, or simply building relationships outside of day‑to‑day delivery. Competitive by nature and deeply committed to the company, Chris brings a steady, practical approach to leadership that keeps the organization moving forward and reinforces the culture he grew up in.
Shawn Eckert, CPA, MBA, MCPM
VP ERP & Accounting Services, QueBIT Finance Tech Services Business Unit
Shawn Eckert is an ERP and automation leader with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise financial systems. With a career focused on aligning technology to business outcomes, Shawn has helped organizations modernize operations, improve financial visibility, and scale with confidence through thoughtfully architected ERP solutions.
As a CPA with an MBA in Finance and a Master Certificate in Project Management, Shawn brings a rare blend of financial rigor, systems thinking, and delivery discipline. His work centers on ERP platforms, most notably NetSuite over the last decade, where he has led complex global implementations, post-go-live rescues, and automation initiatives spanning finance, supply chain, operations, and analytics. Shawn is known for translating operational and financial requirements into practical, scalable system designs that reduce manual effort and increase control.
Throughout his career, Shawn has managed cross-functional and globally distributed teams, partnering with executive stakeholders to deliver high-impact programs on time and with measurable results. His approach emphasizes strong governance, clear communication, and automation-first design ensuring technology investments generate lasting ROI rather than short-term fixes.
Shawn’s professional passion lies at the intersection of ERP software, process automation, and finance transformation. He is widely regarded for his ability to bridge the gap between business leaders and technical teams, turning complexity into clarity and strategy into execution.
When not working, Shawn enjoys yoga, travel, and spending time with family—bringing the same sense of balance and intentionality to life that he applies to his work.
