Ex. Without opening all the chores, how can I confirm which chore runs the process \u201cCube &#8211; Finance &#8211; Load Monthly Data from File\u201d?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">2) Remove unused Planning Analytics objects<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">a. Ex.\u00a0 There are several processes that have not been run within the last 6 months. Before deleting it, how can I quickly confirm that it is not called by any other process?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3) Outputting a list of all the objects in a migration package<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">a. Ex. I would like to document a migration and would prefer not to manually type the names of the objects into an excel file or word document.<\/p>\n<p>There are likely other scenarios where it would be helpful to \u201csearch\u201d the Planning Analytics data directory. Rather than rewriting the same command line scripts, it is possible to save a Windows Command Script and include a prompt for a search string.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a screenshot of the Windows Command Script. In this instance, the search directory is set to be the folder named \u201cData\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2150 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/quebit.com\/askquebit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/LINE1-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"406\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Windows Command Script must be saved at the same level as the \u201cData\u201d folder, or the folder specified in the <strong>searchdir<\/strong> variable.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2151 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/quebit.com\/askquebit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/LINE2-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"518\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can then launch the \u201cSearchTM1Objects.cmd\u201d script where you will be prompted for a search string:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2152 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/quebit.com\/askquebit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/LINE3-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"117\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Type in the search string and hit enter.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2153 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/quebit.com\/askquebit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/LINE4-min.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"108\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This will generate a text file that displays all the objects that contain the string \u201cCube &#8211; Finance&#8221; in the data directory and will display the objects based on their type, whether it be a Rule, TI Process, or Chore.\u00a0 Now we can quickly see that the \u201cCube &#8211; Finance &#8211; Load Monthly Data from File\u201d process is called by the chore \u201cDaily &#8211; Finance Data Load 5AM EST\u201d.
